My Story

16071963 Natalie and Cory_edited.jpg

A born and bred Pittsburgh guy, I grew up north of the city in the Alle-Kiski Valley (that’s exits 8 through 15 on Route 28 North) and currently live in my hometown of Springdale (ever heard of Glenn’s Custard?).  I attended the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown where I was a member of the men's soccer team.  After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Communications, I spent 13 years in the energy industry. After all that time, I was ready for a change. I wanted to start my own business doing something I was passionate about. So, I took the leap, and here I am.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to focus my time and energy on what I truly love and serve my community.  I'm thankful for my clients who trust me with their dogs.  But none of this would be possible without the support of my wife Natalie, our incredible three dogs Stevie, Penny and Augie, and our family and friends. And a few of their dogs, too (they know who they are).

I’m certified through the International School of Certified Dog Training (ISCDT), as well as in pet first aid.  Also a member of The Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT).  This is where I continue my education earning additional CEU's focused on dog training and behavior.

I believe in positive reinforcement training and want to provide each dog with the same care and attention as I would give to my own.

I am committed to the success of every dog’s training experience.
